Dec 21, 2002.
(trailer) A few weeks ago I noticed the left axle was bent.
Not good. So this weekend I replaced both axles, hubs and tires.
See trailer pictures. Was able to get it done just in time for the
Christmas hover-in on the Colorado River in TX - YEA!!! |

| Dec 21, 2002. Well the trailer has a bent left axle.
Don't know how it happened but.... Of course, you can't just
replace one axle so both had to go. The new axles are from Northern
Tool and are real robust. The old hubs would not fit so I had to get
new hubs. Oh yea, the old tires would not fit the new axles so new
tires had to be found. My wife went and got the wheels/tires for me.
Thanks Beck! Picture shows the new axle. |

| Lane came over to help. He also brought his welder and
tacked the axle in place so I could drill the new holes. Steel is
tough.... But, Lane just can't pass up an opportunity to sell.
Two guys came by and were asking about HCs so Lane is giving them the sales
pitch. |

| Mark also came over to help. The tires were not
inflated on the wheels and one inflated easy. The other I had to take
to two tire stores until someone was able to inflate it. |
