| June 1, 2002. I have purchased a 4 cylinder 80 HP GEOengine. I would like to find a distributor from a 89-91 Suzuki Swift. They did not need the ECM computer to run and I would prefer not to have to use the ECM if I do not have to. |

| June 13, 2002. Its here! The GEO engine
finally arrived today in its box. It is in pristine condition. It
even came with the cable harness and ECM. I bought it from a
guy that converts brand new GEOs into electric cars and removes the engine
and other stuff from the cars. It looks big and I wonder if I
should have stayed with the Kohler.... |

| August 12, 2002. Rob is building a geo engine mount
for the HC. Here are the preliminary pictures. He does
excellent work! Can't wait to try it. His Geo engine is shown
mounted to it. |
  |
| I purchased a Geo radiator on ebay. It is modest but
will do the job. Needs a cleaning.... |
  |
| Rob Tilton had the idler made. Its purpose in life
is to tension the six 3V belts that go between the engine pulley and the
prop pulley. Nice job! Thanks Rob !!!!!!! |
 |
| Sept 7, 2002. Went to Rob Tilton's house with the
Geo engine. Rob welded the engine and radiator mounts to the stand.
The engine was bolted on and it fits great! Of course we had to
drive through the rain from tropical storm Fey in both directions.
Dedication ya know. Thanks to Joe "Bag Man" Arrambide for driving
with me (5 hrs) and helping heft the engine into the truck, Ken Jansen for
the loan of the truck (of course he got the Corvette to drive) and special
thanks to Rob Tilton for spending most of Saturday constructing the mount.
Rob's wife is expecting twin girls very shortly - so she also deserves
thanks for letting Rob out to play! Thanks all !!!!!!!!! |
